How to Get Leads from Your 60 Second Networking Introduction
Time & Location
About the Event
Whether doing the business networking 60 second introduction fills you with dread, or you know you could use some help making your 60 seconds really clear and memorable - this workshop is for you.
Often when I attend networking I notice that people struggle to explain what they do clearly and quickly in order to get the word out to potential customers. I can tell that they're passionate about what they do, but they need some help in making what they do clear to those who might be hearing you for the first time (because it's obvious to us - we do it all day!)
Being able to be clear and confident in our delivery of our 60 seconds means that our ideal customer will know they want to connect with us. It also means that other people will be able to easily understand and remember what it is you do which could mean further connections in the future. It's so important to make those 60 seconds count!
Content is important for people to know what you do, but what draws people to choose to work with you is who you are - so the way you come across in those 60 seconds is key.
This workshop will help you be able to:
- explain what you do, including:
- who you help
- what you help them with (what problem you help solve)
- feel confident in delivering your 60 seconds
- come across to potential customers in the way you'd most want to
This workshop will improve your business clarity, as well as your ability to attract customers.
There are only limited places available for this workshop so that participants can practice their pitches and get individual help and feedback. Book soon to avoid disappointment.
Madeleine Woolgar is a mindset coach and speaker. She uses her unique combination of mindset training, speaker experience, theatre background and personal experience as a business owner to empower other business owners to make their 60 seconds count - with confidence and clarity.
"I recently attended Madeleine’s 60 second elevator pitch webinar. I wasn’t 100% sure I needed it, although I’m always open to learning. I do a fair bit of networking and talking about my business in various settings and although I knew my ‘pitch’ wasn’t perfect, I thought it was pretty good. How wrong I was! Within a very short amount of time, I saw from Madeleine’s incisive and detailed input that I was way off the mark with my over-generalised, catch-all sort of phrasing. I cannot emphasise enough how much Madeleine can get you to look at who SPECIFICALLY are your target customers and how you can gain clients by speaking to individual needs and solving specific problems. I gained so much clarity over my business and what I want to do with it, as well as how to talk to people about it with passion and simplicity. For anyone who is looking for clients this is a must-do webinar."

“I signed up for Madeleine’s 60 second Elevator Pitch workshop because I knew I could trust someone who is such a brilliant public speaker to be able to guide me with insight and humour through the process of putting together my pitch. I expectations were surpassed through the workshop: Madeleine shared incredibly useful tips and information about how to structure the content of my pitch, as well as a ton of insight into how to most effectively make the pitch. Her wide experience of networking was evident - having not been to a lot of networking events myself, I found her observations of effective and ineffective pitches that she has seen very helpful - and she facilitated the whole workshop with real attention to the details of each participant. Her enthusiasm for each of us and the work that we do was so inspiring and I left the workshop feeling uplifted and confident in making my pitch.”

"I signed up for Madeleines workshop to gain more clarity in what I actually want to get across in a network meeting. As I have different strands to my work, I often struggle to decide what I want to promote more. It is well worth practising beforehand. I learnt in the workshop to be more precise and focus on one aspect of my work only. The group's and Madeleine's feedback was incredibly helpful to be clear of what you want people to remember and give it a good punch line."
